Men's facial hair care
What is beard oil and why do you need it?
Beard oil is usually a blend of light oils designed for quick absorption to give the facial hair some tame. The beard oil with soften coarse hair and make it easier to style. Rather than using aftershave, beard oil will act as a conditioner as well as, when scented, have your beard smelling fantastic all day.
The best time to apply beard oil is after washing it. So give that beard a nice wash, possibly with a shampoo for coarse hair. Dry it and apply the beard oil all over. Style as desired.
The number of oil mixes possible is endless but a lot of the oils have similar properties. In the case of reCNSTRCTN beard oils #1, #2 and #3, the blend of oils mixed together have been thought out in a way that each oil has a different property, so no two oil does the same thing.
The pre-shave oil is meant to be applied before the actual shave/trim. The oil will soften the hair while having the hairline still visible in case you are just trying to keep it nice and clean.

Just because you don't have all three does not mean your beard will not be getting compliments all around. Every oil has a different use but each oil can be used as a daily oil, separately.
If you are a barber and not sure which oils to use together or whether to use all three on each client, here is my suggestion. Use pre-shave and after shave on the client you are giving a beard shape to or someone you are shaving everything off of. Use pre-shave and everyday oil if you are just trimming the beard, but not really shaving. Use after shave if you want to just keep it fresh and clean. Would not suggest using all on one person. Each has a different property so depending on the situation, you can pick and choose which combos to use.
Here again:
Any razor shaving or trimming - #1 and #2.
Any simple trimming - #1 and #3
Just after a haircut and wanting to keep the face nice and moisturized - #2 or #3
Any feedback after using the oils is welcome, including how you like/dislike the natural smell, or if you have tried the scented, how you like/dislike the essential oils added.
